Salmon in Norway in August is with fishing in Todalselven and Søya
All trips are from Sunday to Saturday and Arve Evensen are the fishing guide. Maximum participants are 4 men. It’s Catch and Release and for fly fishermen.
Todalselven: You fish on 8 km including private water only for Todalshytten’s guests. On the stretches that are not just for our guests, only 16 fishing licenses are issued, of which we have the 6. The fishing is divided into 4 zones, which are fished alternately at 6-hour intervals.
Søya: 1 km of the best water in this high productive river. It is full of smaller salmon. Dry fly fishing is an option in this river.
Boat rental: There is the possibility of boat rental on the fjord, which abounds with saithe, cod, mackerel, halibut and not least sea trout.
Fishing licenses can be purchased for a small river 12 km from the lodge, where many smaller salmons go up. They can be caught on a single-handed rod and with a dry fly (open until 1 August).
Accomodation: You live in a single room in the historic salmon hut built by Lord Philip in 1901. It is managed by Arve Evensen.
